Nancy through the vanished Duchy of Lorraine, Stanisław Leszczyński’s Enlightenment squares and the later École de Nancy Art Nouveau movement. The route follows a city that repeatedly reinvented itself after political absorption into France, using architecture, glass, furniture and urban planning to turn lost sovereignty into cultural identity.
