The industrial complex opened in 1941 near SEE-get-sent-MEEK-lohsh and Tököl to produce military aircraft for the German war effort. Allied bombing killed workers and damaged production before the site was repurposed after 1945.
Use topography and access routes to understand strategic value. Ordinary streets or industrial grounds can become military terrain because of where they lead and what they contain.
The civilian perspective matters here because wartime strategy uses spaces designed for other purposes. Workplaces, roads and homes become targets or defensive terrain.
